commitment

October 2, 2008

Committment — noun — some definitions:

A pledge to do.

the act of binding yourself (intellectually or emotionally) to a course of action;

an agreement or pledge to do something in the future

I once did this piece about commitment.

Part of the label reads:

This quilt is about commitment, commitment to finish those things we don’t want to.

This afternoon I am pondering the word commitment and what it means in today’s society and social groups.

    Hmmm I sense something going on that I am clueless on. Sending you warm thoughts! In my house it usually means I hope no one has me committed by the end of the week 😉
