I remember

So many memories. Today would have been your 81st birthday dad, I still miss you.

    Hi Judy,

Your post about your dad just caught my emotions. It’s probably that I am also missing my dad and my best friend. It’s truly so hard to let go a person especially if you think that if we could still have the chance to be with that person a little longer. Sometimes, reminiscing the moments we had with that person will only hurt us more because we will have that longing of staying with the person a little more.

It is so hard to loose a parent. I lost my Mother to cancer in 1989. She was just 57. I still have things I want to show her or tell her. Today would have been my Grandmother’s 98th birthday. She started her new journey March 23, 2001 at the age of 91.

Hugs to you, Judy … and know that many of us share your sense of loss.

    Love, sammi

I know you felt the loss today but your post brought a smile to my face to see you and your Dad (I don’t have such happy memories of a father). What a wonderful thing to share with us, thank you. Another piece of you I get to know. Smiles!
