Come take a walk with me:
I’m so glad this is just rain and nothing colder.
Brandi’s had enough of winter, the leaves don’t crunch anymore.
The Maple shows promise of spring.
As well as the daffodil buds.
But if you’re wondering why I’ve been coughing and snuffling so much, let me show you. This is my back porch step:
The trim isn’t green, truly it’s blue. Those step boards, they were fresh, pressure treated put on this summer. Once the weather breaks we’ll power wash and treat for mold, yet once again. And hold it at bay until the high humidity of the summer kicks in. Just part of living in the south!

I decided it was past time to move my cactus back into the studio window. They didn’t bloom this winter in the north facing window I had them in. And yesterday morning I knocked over the stand they were on in that window….making quite the mess.
Today when I walk into the studio and look out, I now see this:

I think I like this new view! Until the leaves bud out in the spring at least!
